Ethan's Birthday Party

Aunt Chris and Uncle Jeremy helped make Ethan's day super special. After church and a yummy lunch of Haddie's chili they gave him his first clue to his gift. Nine clues took us all over the house, to the lake and to the park and back to the house to find surprises waiting! I got some wondeful pictures. Thank you Chris and J for your thoughtfulness. :)
Ethan continues to design and build the most unique things. He says he wants to be a military designer...not sure if that exists, but maybe one day it will!
Steve is teaching him about being a Godly leader and protector...beginning with his sisters! He can talk your ear off and makes up silly jokes instead of going to sleep. (If December 24 is Christmas Eve, what is December 23? Christmas Adam!) He loves science and hates spelling. We love to hear him laugh and Emma thinks he is the smartest person she knows...besides Dadddy of course! This emotional momma thanks God for such a gift and privilege.
Thank you for your love everyone.
He wants pancakes for supper, so off I go...

Sounds like you all had a wonderful day! I know the kids loved the 'hunt', who doesn't like to find clues to the treasure? I'm sure Ethan will remember this birthday. BTW, did Polly get a onesy?
LOL...

Emma decided her white church sweater would fit Polly. She asked Chris to put it on. Polly, being the submissive, obliging friend she is, obeyed when told to sit, and Chris put it right on. Polly is looking at Chris in this picture as if to say, "Really...you are really making me wear this?!?!?"
