We are in Huntsville with J's family, then onto Georgia to visit his other family. Mo and clan are sick in the bed, looks like a quiet Christmas.

Our Christmas was different from any in the past. Emma and Madison have been sick and now Melissa seems to be coming down with it. It has been quite, cold and rainy. Christine and Jeremy headed north to Huntsville very earlty this am; we had Christmas with them last night.
Steve lead the family in a Christmas devotional this am which was very good and a reminder of why we celebrate this day. May we all seek God and discover his will for our lives. I love you all and hope we can meet someeplace this year.

Hello all,
Finally awake and feeling some better. Emma is still coughing, but is eating and has no fever. We have learned this year that Christmas is truly in our hearts, not just on December 25. We thank God for His gift which fills us with joy whether sick or well. Love to each one of you. Thank you, Mom, for not being afraid of the germs and taking care of us. Let's not let another year go by without seeing each other...
Christmas was different for me too. Not a single decoration was placed in my house. No time and it was just easier no to put anything out on the 21st. I did have the opportunity to listen to some ancient and inspiring carols on our local classical station. That lifted my heart and my mind heavenward. The old songs of Christmas are beautiful. We listened to the live performance of the boys choir from Cambridge England at Kings College. It was so refreshing to hear that kind of music rather than some of the "junk" on the radio. This season should be holy and "religious". It is part of what makes our faith different.
